Roland Guerrero began learning music at the young age of nine years old. Roland attended a Catholic school where guitar instruction was offered to give its students an opportunity to participate in the church choir. Throughout middle and high school, he performed in the school bands while taking private guitar lessons. In high school, he was the percussion section leader and played mallet instruments. He has won several awards and scholarships throughout college, most notably for classical and jazz performance. Roland has been teaching guitar and piano for more than 5 years. Roland graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts in Music.
