
Nyleen Turner, B.A. Piano Instructor
Nyleen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education with an emphasis in Choral Music from California State University, Fullerton, and has dedicated more than 25 years to teaching piano and voice, accompanying ensembles, and directing choirs in school, community, and church settings. Throughout her career, she has worked with students of all ages and experience levels, helping them build strong musical foundations while fostering a lifelong appreciation for music.
With a broad background spanning classical, sacred, and contemporary music, Nyleen brings a well-rounded approach to every lesson. She is passionate about helping students discover their unique musical interests while developing confidence, creativity, and excellent music literacy. Her teaching emphasizes not only strong technique and expressive performance but also the ability to read, understand, and enjoy music independently.
As both an educator and an accomplished accompanist and choral director, Nyleen believes that music is most meaningful when it is shared. She strives to create a positive, encouraging learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. Whether a student is preparing for performances, pursuing personal goals, or learning simply for the joy of music, Nyleen is committed to helping each individual grow into a capable and confident musician.
