Isai Trejo B.A., Violin Instructor
Born and raised in San Antonio, Isai was handed a violin by his father at the age of nine and never looked back. Learning by imitating his brother and sketching out songs of his father, Isai independently studied classical, fiddle, pop, Mexican music, and improvisational techniques. After performing in public for some years, Isai was invited in 2017 to teach at a music school, focusing on children and the Suzuki method. He graduated from Texas A&M University in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Isai has taught private violin lessons for over 4 years at several schools in the San Antonio area and is also comfortable teaching lessons in the traditional style and in Spanish.
In his free time, Isai enjoys playing the drums, the ukulele, the mandolin, doing yoga, meditating, journaling, and reading. In addition, he is secretly good at rapping and beatboxing!
