

Hannah Petersen, B.A., Piano Instructor
Hannah Petersen is a dedicated music educator and multi-instrumentalist based in San Antonio, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2021, where she refined her skills in piano performance, music theory, and pedagogy.
Hannah began studying piano at the age of eight and soon joined a local children’s choir, laying the foundation for her strong aural, sight-reading, and vocal abilities. She has been teaching private piano lessons since 2018, working with students of all ages and skill levels. Her teaching approach emphasizes musicality, technical growth, and a well-rounded understanding of music.
As a performer, Hannah has competed in UIL events as well as A Cappella and barbershop quartet competitions. She is also a passionate lifelong learner, exploring a wide array of instruments including guitar, bass, ukulele, drums, and violin. In addition to her classical training, she performs actively in the San Antonio music scene with local groups such as Sue the Dinosaur and Eclipse: A Tribute to Journey, bringing versatility and energy to the stage.
Currently, Hannah teaches at the San Antonio Music Academy, where she is committed to inspiring and guiding the next generation of musicians.
