Harmony Guitar Classes
In partnership with Harmony School of Science, San Antonio Music Academy (SAMA) teaches guitar classes at Harmony throughout the week. This is the 2nd year that Harmony has partnered with SAMA to bring music education to the students of Harmony.
Typically students will have (1) 47-minute guitar class each week. While not required, it would be extremely beneficial for students to have their own guitar at home. This would give them the opportunity to practice at home what they’ve learned in class, enabling them to advance at a faster rate. Below are a few recommendations. Guitar Recommendations
Yamaha Classical Guitar
This is the same guitar that Harmony has in the music room
Fender Squier Electric Guitar
While we don’t use electric guitars at Harmony, the techniques and notes learned are the same. So students are more than welcome to practice on an electric guitar at home.
Guitar Stand
Useful for keeping the guitar ready at all times for a student to pick up and practice
