
Odelia Pena, Violin Instructor
Odelia Pena, known as Odie, is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Music Business from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. She previously earned a Certificate in Technology in Music Business from San Antonio College (SAC). During her academic pursuits, Odie has been recognized for her academic excellence, having made the Dean’s List in Spring 2021, and was nominated to graduate with honors from Palo Alto College.
Odie’s extensive experience in the music industry includes serving as Lead Talent Manager for Fredstock Fiesta in 2021 and participating as Music Director, actress, and musician in various PAC Teatro productions. She also showcased her leadership skills as Dance Captain and Lead Violinist for the PAC Marching Mariachis.
Specializing in classical violin, Odie has performed for over 12 years in orchestral and ensemble settings but is also adept at creating arrangements for pop and rock songs. Her teaching career began in high school, where she provided private violin lessons to younger students. In college, she continued to teach peers, expanding her experience to work with individuals aged 16 and older.
Born in Victoria, TX, and raised in San Antonio, Odie is deeply connected to her community. Her passion for music was ignited at the age of 10, leading her to abandon her initial aspirations of becoming a neurologist. She is committed to sharing her love of music through teaching, hoping to inspire the next generation of musicians. Outside of music, Odie enjoys watercolor painting, reading, and exploring new music and artists.
