
Natalie Conover, B.A., Violin Instructor
Natalie Conover is a dedicated violin instructor with over 11 years of teaching experience and a deep passion for inspiring students through music. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Natalie discovered her love for the violin in fourth grade after hearing a string quartet perform at a school assembly. She signed up for violin shortly thereafter and quickly fell in love, a spark that grew into a lifelong pursuit and career in music education.
Natalie earned her bachelor’s degree in Music Education from West Chester University, where she studied violin under Dr. Sylvia Ahramjian and Dr. Rebecca Ansel. She has also studied with Rachel Ku of The Philadelphia Orchestra, further shaping her musicianship and performance skills. In 2024, Natalie expanded her professional toolkit by earning a Creative Entrepreneurship Certificate from Berklee College of Music under the instruction of Peter Spellman. She is also a 2023–2024 cohort member and scholarship recipient of the Teaching Artist Training Institute, a nine-month professional development program focused on advancing teaching artistry.
Specializing in classical, pop, and traditional styles, Natalie brings versatility and creativity to her teaching. She is an active member of the American String Teachers Association (ASTA) and currently serves as the violin ensemble instructor at Kriewald Road Elementary School of the Arts. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of music. Outside of her love for teaching and performing, Natalie enjoys cooking and is fairly fluent in Spanish.
