Elizabeth Lopez, a recent transplant to the San Antonio area, was born and raised in Conroe, Texas where she played clarinet throughout her middle school years and in the high school marching band. After high school, she took care of her three little brothers whom she misses like CRAZY! She loves kids so much that she took on a position working for the city in the Parks and Recreation Department, overseeing an after-school program and a summer program with over 100 kids, along with the help of 8 other counselors. Elizabeth held this position for about four years before moving to San Antonio at the age of 25 to finish her Associate of Liberal Arts degree. She has a strong passion for helping others and is considering becoming a sociology major to pursue a career as an immigration specialist. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys long-distance running, yoga, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
