Amber Kuykendall, A. A.,
Amber Kuykendall was raised in East Mountain, TX. This is where her fascination with music began. It started when her mother would play classical music to encourage her to fall asleep at bedtime. She then pursued her musical interest by starting private piano lessons at the age of eight. Amber continued her musical education in middle school and high school. Amber joined the choir in high school and played clarinet in the band. During this time is when Amber decided to pursue music at a professional level. At Kilgore College, Amber studied under the direction of Dr. William Hayter and Dr. Mary Heiden. She also taught at the college for a year, adding to her existing three years of private teaching experience.
Amber recently moved to San Antonio and lives with her fiancée Heidi and her dog “Mouse”. Amber loves to travel and takes pride in her D.I.Y projects. She is currently working on repurposing a coffee table to complement her living room furniture.
